So how does it work? Information about your first appointment.
Coming along to your first psychotherapy appointment can be fairly daunting, especially if you have never experienced a counselling/psychotherapy session before. The following information will hopefully give you an idea of what to expect, but feel free to call or email us for any further information.
Your first session of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is an opportunity for you to present what it is that you wish to work on, and achieve from, your therapy experience. This first session is also where you will learn more about how CBT works, in general, and how it can address your particular needs.
Your appointment will be of approximately 50 minutes’ duration.
